We at Faulkner Nissan Harrisburg wanted to help drivers make an educated decision on their next vehicle.
Luckily, this year’s Nissan Rogue just hit the dealership floor as well as the roads of Carlisle, York, and Mechanicsburg. If you’ve been searching for a new car, continue reading our 2020 Nissan Rogue review to discover if this midsize SUV suits your lifestyle.
Power & Efficiency
You can count on the 2020 Rogue to deliver a fun-to-drive engine that doesn’t relinquish an ounce of driving range. Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Depending on which drivetrain you decide to take home, your MPG will be slightly different.
However, you won’t have to worry about the gas pump as often thanks to the Nissan Xtronic CVT® with sport mode shifter. The front-wheel drive model offers an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 city/33 highway/29 combined MPG.* If you opt for the intelligent all-wheel drive version, you’ll have an EPA-estimated 25 city/32 highway/27 combined MPG.*
Interior Dimensions & Technology
When you take a seat in the Nissan Rogue, you can rest assured that it has more than enough room to keep all five passengers comfy. In the front row, there’s 41.6 inches of headroom, 43 inches of legroom, and 54.0 inches of hip room.
Rear-seated passengers weren’t forgotten about either. They have 38.5 inches of headroom, 37.9 inches of legroom, and 52.1 inches of hip room. As you can see, there’ll be comfort from either row, regardless of the journey.
Stay focused on the road with the Nissan Advanced Drive-Assist® Display, which is located in the multi-information display cluster and will show things including incoming calls, text messages, and navigation instructions. Combine this with a center-mounted NissanConnect® 7-inch screen for an array of tech at your fingertips.
A Robust Safety Suite
When it comes to safety, the 2020 Nissan Rogue has you covered—again and again. Every model comes standard with an advanced airbag system with dual-stage supplemental front airbags and occupant-classification sensors. This feature will detect the size of the passenger and determine when to inflate the airbags in certain accidents.
To help ensure that you and your family remain safe in the event of a collision, the Rogue was designed with a zoned body construction complete with front and rear crumple zones. Additionally, the passenger compartment is reinforced, the hood has buckling creases and safety stops, and the engine has break-away mounts to redistribute collision forces.
