2022 Nissan Ariya Preview

Excitement starts with the spark of something great—something like the electric crossover—the 2022 Nissan Ariya. Coming soon to a showroom near Harrisburg and Carlisle, Pennsylvania, this vehicle brings electric dreams of driving to life. Stay tuned for the latest updates from Faulkner Nissan Harrisburg to York and Mechanicsburg drivers looking for an electric alternative to the current standard.

Nissan Ariya MPG

Twin motors deliver all the power the 100 percent electric Ariya needs to take the roads by storm without losing your nerve or the balanced handling it provides. Choose between two separate drivetrains:

  • Front-Wheel Drive promises a smooth ride
  • e-4ORCE All-Wheel Drive offers all-weather capability

Select from two different types of batteries. Stick close to home by using:

  • the 2WD standard range 63 kWh battery that works for short drives like a commute or errands

Or stray away from your Lower Susquehanna Valley home and take a faraway trek with:

  • 2WD long range 87 kWh battery, ideal for longer trips like a cross-country vacation. It will complete an approximately 300-mile journey on one charge

With horsepower spanning 215 to 389 and torque ranging from 221 to 443 lb-ft, the quick pick up shows when you drive the Ariya. Use the e-Pedal to accelerate, decelerate, and stop with this unique accelerator pedal.

Nissan Ariya Interior Space

As you enter the Ariya, the spacious interior and flat floor feels like a lounge instead of just a vehicle. The center console, which slides back for more room in the front seat, continues that notion. Zero Gravity seats place you in a position of relaxation, so you’re refreshed when you arrive at your destination.

The Ariya contains two rows to fit five passengers, and the 2nd-row seats can be folded down for more cargo space. Let’s see how much you can expect:

  • 16.5 cubic feet of cargo in FWD models
  • 14.6 cubic feet of cargo in AWD models

At press time, no cargo space dimensions with the rear seats folded down could be found.

Nissan Ariya Technology

In the Ariya, the control over your controls just got easier and more high-tech with added voice control. They also come with:

  • Haptic or touch feedback for the controls
  • Ability to swipe to retrieve favorite apps

Two large screens occupy the dashboard in one seamless band for even greater visibility. Climate control buttons morph into the wood-like trim below.

Integrate your smartphone into your Ariya command center with:

  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto™

And you can operate your built-in Amazon Alexa to adjust your Ariya settings or to monitor your smart home features.

If you need to locate a charging station when you’re far from home or are just in need of a recharge before heading home, find one through the Intelligent Route Planner. It points out on the map where you need to go, or it can start you out on the right route by planning an itinerary.

Nissan Ariya Safety

Nissan thought of everything, including safety, when they created this dynamic electric crossover. When you finally see this vehicle, you may end up thinking that it’s magical. You could be right when you watch what can happen.

  • ProPILOT Assist 2.0 lets you take your hands from the wheel during a single-lane trip
  • ProPILOT Park steers itself into a space of your choosing

The Head-Up Display projects your directions, speed, and more onto your windshield, which shines a magical beacon lighting the way forward.

And, of course, Nissan continues to provide the wraparound safety of the Safety Shield® 360 with six standard systems, like:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Rear Automatic Braking

With these devices, you can experience the ride and leave worries behind.
